Dan Salmon is a freelance producer and project manager with over 20 years experience as an originator and producer of interactive media. Over the past two decades in the industry Dan has created CD-Rom, iTV and internet projects, working with clients such as the BBC, Channel 4, FilmFour, Apple Computer, IBM, Electronic Arts, ABC/Disney and others.
Dan's first experience of creating interactive works was as a founding member of performance art group The Spunkflakes. After studying for an MA in Interactive Media, he moved into the commercial multimedia market and has since worked on a wide range of complex cd-rom and online/internet titles. In 1998 he co-founded an independent production company, Your Show Productions Ltd, which he ran successfully with his business partner Philippa Watson until they disbanded in 2003 in order to pursue other interests.
Dan has an MA in Interactive Media from the Royal College of Art, London, UK, as well as a BA in Environmental Design & Architecture from the University of Colorado, Boulder, USA. In addition to his media career, Dan has worked as a Strategic Planner with The London Stock Exchange and as a Design Architect on London Underground's Jubilee Line Extension.
