The Bowlers

Experience the thrill of time travel with this unique television event set to mark the start of the new century. The Bowlers, a thoroughly modern 1999 family, will be transported back to 1900 to live in a house restored to the exact specifications of the late victorian era.
They will live with no central heating, no refrigeration, no detergent and no penicilin, exposed to every detail of turn-of-the-century living from cleaning the cutlery with brick dust to shaving with a cut-throat razor.

Competition Rules

These rules apply to all competitions included on www.channel4.com site, unless otherwise expressly stated.

1. No employee of Channel Four Television Corporation or its subsidiary or associated companies, or their agents or members of their families or households shall be eligible to enter.

5. No prizes will be awarded as a result of improper actions by or on behalf of contestants, illegal or otherwise.

6. Where a prize may not be appropriate for a younger contestant, a minimum age for entry will be stated and must be observed. Channel 4 reserves the right to request written proof of the age of any winner.
